Incase one need to store the excess energy, one can connect batteries to the solar panel. Worth noting here is that storage batteries’ size should be fit for your energy output requirements. The excess energy will be of much use particularly during winter as the sun is rare. During the power storage and the revert process, the process is automatic. The batteries also keep a record of the extra power produced which is considered during electricity payments.
Though the solar system does not require much attention in terms of maintenance, it is always wise to consult a professional once in a while to have them checked for maximal functionality. This is to ensure that they are maximally operating every time. With homemade solar panels, individuals can take the work to operate them on their own without having to consult a professional.
